Alright just so you know before you get your spoiler...
1. It will not help performance at all in a FWD car. It will increase drag and weight which will make you slower.
2. If it does it's job of increasing downforce, which I'm not really sure a stock one would do, I've heard that this will increase understeer in cornering, which is bad.
3. It will put holes in your trunk, which may be expensive to repair/replace if you decide you don't want it anymore.
Anyway, if you insist on getting one I would get the OEM one. The Type-R one was higher and may decrease visibility.

KAMINARI!!!! if not that go with stock, def not type-r cause it looks hideous on the civic unless you have a bodykit then it just stands out too much, kaminari isn't too high and looks really nice, personally i think that "mugen" spoiler looks like a cheaper kaminari spoiler
i'm gettin' a stock spoiler on my civic for x-mas. the type R is a little too "out there" for me. i think that u have to have a few extreme body mods to go along with a spoiler like the type R, which i don't have. just my opinion. if you're looking for good deal, i got mine at spoilerdepot.com for $195 painted.
