DIY: Change your 5 speed into 6 speed
here it is folks: change your lame 5 speed into a six speed manual tranny:

1) pull down on the cheap plastic ring at the base of the ****

2) unsrew cheap rubber **** from shaft

3) take equally cheap **** from RSX Type S (very important! it must have a six speed pattern on it or else it WON'T WORK!!!)

The car grinds terribly when I try to shift into 6th, but hey, I'm still working out the bugs.

U mean this really wont work.....DAMNIT.....i guess i will have to change my car back to a 5-speed and place my stock rsx (base) **** on.....OHH well worth the try!

Seriously though....i think this mod adds atleast 20hp and takes off atlest .5 on the quarter mile.

lol. Hey, think of a 6 spd shifter as an anti-theft device. If someone steals your car and gets on the highway, they'll try to put it into 6th, really putting it into reverse, and they'll blow up the car and the cops will find them!
