OBX axle back from mufflertech.com
I was just wondering if anyone has the obx axle back from mufflertech.com and what it sounds like and if there are any gains in hp. thanks
I got the OBX II rear section, if you have a sedan you will need to get the hangers lowered a little bit, it'll be on the bumper if you dont. It looks/sounds good in my opinion, low, but noticeable, and not ricey and bumble beish sounding. As far as gains...maybe, maybe 1.00282hp and thats it. But if you want, go to meinike or an exhaust shop and have them make you 2-2 1/4" custom piping, mandrel bent, getting rid of the resonator, louder, and better flow, might yield like 2-3hp here. And its cheaper than a cat-back system, and the same damn thing
Rear section+custom piping=$300
Big company cat-back=$600
Gains on both+barely noticable

I have but I got the rest of the piping as well. I got the piping from the cat to the rear section for $65. SO I got a full cat-back for around $200. If you get just the rear section you will have minimum sound difference but there will be a difference and there will be no hp what so ever. There will be a little gain if you get the full piping at 2.25" piping.
