Ok, guys, I am greatly considering getting a vic and am already planning what mods I want and things like that. (i get my bro to help me
)
neways, I was curious--are neon lights under the car rice or no? I am really careful about what I am going to put onto my future car, and so any help would be awesome. thanks.

if you think about it, every civic here is rice. so it doesnt really matter
just as long as you like it, then thats good enough for me. dont be concerned on what others think.

Those under body neons are rice or hell just plain ugly no madder what. To many kids have it. Working on modding the car with stuff that counts - or at least that what i would do.

I was at a groceries store yesterday night and this thug lookin dude walks up to me right after I park, at first I was thinkin he wants to diss on my car or jack it or something...but he complimented on it LOL, so we became friends.
PPL that doesn't own civics consider it rice cause there's so many ricers out there (even I thought civic owners were rice before I had mine) but now I understand...modding is just plain freaking FUN! I wouldn't settle for any other car now cause the aftermarket parts for the civics are just insane!
Also, ricing would be putting a type-R emblem on ur civic when u don't have a type-R...civics are just over stereotyped, just like ppl say all chinese have small d..ks, I for one have a large one

Ahh....thanks for clearing that up
I was just wondering what you meant by "if you think about it, every civic here is rice. so it doesnt really matter" Considering many civics on this site are stock, and some only have minor interior/exterior changes.
No matter what you do to your car or what you dont do, it will get called rice, even if it's 100% stock. Just one of those things you will learn to laugh off when the people calling it rice ride by in a 92 rusted out Ford Escort

Rice is something that makes your car look like something it isn't. As stated above, if you put a Type-R badge on your car and you don't have a type-R or a type-R engine swap, that is rice. If you put a big exhaust on that causes you to lose power but it "sounds cool" and "looks high performance," that is rice. If you get an exhaust that adds power and you get it because you want more power, that is not rice, that is doing research and making good choices for mods.
But that being said, if it makes you happy, do it. Don't let other people tell you what to do with your car.

I like my neons, but it's really up to you. Remember, they'll be off most of the time anyway. It won't be a visible mod on your car--just be sure to hide the tubes.
if u live in an flat *** area wiht no inclines then its fine but for the rest of the world count on one breaking. they are wired in series like christmas lights. so if one is busted the rest wont work ....
if u do get them dont have them all shining liek a 10 foot bubble shield around the car. it looks way better if the light is only under the car and not protruding all around the car..unlike that pic wit the silver civic and blue forcefield around it

Okay, it doesn't look that in real life. The pic was taken with long exposure. It really just has light under the car. lol to bubble shield
