Megan Racing Header

Well I finally got it installed on Monday. The Megan Racing Header for ours is ceramic coated, and it is a 4 into 1 peice. The piping size on the header are a whole lot bigger than the stock Ex ones. I haven't really tested out the header till today but I'm pretty impressed. It gave my car a grumble, kinda like an old VW; but you will still have the deep tone from the muffler. I got back some low end torque and it has improved a little in gears 1-3 (that's as high as I've gone) But next I want their hi-flow cat (downpipe) maybe it'll work better with the header???

Yup, I don't know how either, but I did notice. I'm going to get their hi flow cat (downpipe) pretty soon. Would I be getting the same type of gain?

Megan racing makes a downpipe for our cars? How much? Is it like the top speed one? Does it fit without modifying it for an EX 5- speed? I'm really intrested in that.

Its basically a hi flow cat connected to a downpipe. And it is a direct bolt. Whether it is a direct bolt to the stock piping, megan racing back back piping, megan racing header, stock header, etc. I'm not to sure. But it should bolt right on to anything that was not welded to our cars since their header was a direct bolt to my downpipe.

What sucks is that I'm going to have to weld their hi flow cat/downpipe (whatever you wanna call it) to my custom 2.25'' piping

So is it a high flow cat or just a resonator? And it is a direct replacement of the stock on? Would it bolt up to the stock Cat back?

I also noticed some low end torque. At least I think I did. I'm not quite ready to write my performance review of the hp header I installed yet. I think my ECU may still be adjusting to it, even tho I did the reset and let it idle for 10 minutes.

i have the same header i ve got pics in my gallery..
the downpipe is not a cat at all its straight through,
everyone always calls them a high flow cat for some reason..
i really am pleased with my purchase 85$ cant beat that... i love ebay
the welds are nice and the fit was purfect, it got rid of he buzzing noise from my modified cat.
