and as for the other opinions, there are only adaptors available for our car other than the OBX ss which is identical to the revo. dc sports and neuspeed are both adaptors, so it isnt a true ss.
aight if u search you will see that this topic has been talked about a lot. I posted the same thing about 4 mths ago and honestly.......the REVO SS is the best. Dont wait for a group buy!
the install is ok unless u have a 2003 then the tricky part is getting the cneter concel(sp?) out, but now there is a handy diy (which was not out when i put mine in.
Install took me about 1.5 hrs but if u can get ur center concel (sp?) out with ease (which now you should) it will take about 45 mins for a slow clean install.
The shifter is awesome....i cant imagine driving with anything else. Drove my buddies car yesterday (VW jetta) man the throws are soo long. I would say it cut the shifting down a signifcant bit and the height of it makes the car look sooo much better!
got for it, make sure u use the 5% off code for tornactive, and buy it NOW! you cant find these in the for sale forum b/c they get eaten up within like 5mins! Honestly the resale on the kits is insane!
**SIDE NOTE**
Buy GREY's bushings kit. Makes the install easier and makes the whole kit more sturdy...with much less play! worth the $ and then some!

how much will the GB price be? And the Revo is:
1) shorter side-to-side
2) shorter front-to-back
3) shorter stick (lower shift **** position)
Also, get CapYoda's kit. If you shift hard, it makes a HUUUUGE difference in the sturdiness, as compared to those ***-weak rubber stock ones. And Grey's; have heard many good things about it. If there's a GB, I will definitely get it. Also, I have heard that a good heavy shift **** helps greatly too, in the sturdiness of shifts. Im gettin an RSX-S **** in the mail, so so much for that. Just buy it.

i bought s revo copycat about a year ago on ebay. it was half the price, and the quality was as good as stock. heres a pic you may find helpful... its an OBX

dont mind the bootleg rubber bands i put on the obx, thats just to up the resistance when shifting, give it a tighter feel.

If you still want to find the Revo SS for a good price, it's posted in the Retail section. We offer it for $89.00 shipped within the US. $98.00 US shipped to Canada. We already sold 10, but we have more in stock.
