Anyone into these things. It is very addictive. I just got the Acura RSX one with all the accessories. I hooked it up with eibach springs, new wheels, motor 2 upgrade, AWD, haha and much more.

Hehe, I can't really tell. The car isn't that big but they seem pretty quick. Maybe, I should setup something that would be equivalent to 1/4 mile for this car and time it. I just like how you can change so many of the parts. The coolest is the body kits. It even has a carbon fiber hood look alike for the RSX model. These xmods are supposely going to be very hot for the Holiday season. I even see them going on ebay for prices more than you can get at Radio shack and everyone keeps mentioning how limited they are in their ads. But the Radio shack in my area, had a good stock of them. I bought one for myself and two others, and hopefully I make some money off them in the coming holiday season!

One thing though, it would have been cool if they had the 7thgen civic instead of the 6thgen model.

I just picked up a Skyline GTR and the AWD upgrade here. I want the springs, lights, and engine upgrades next.

And to answer the ? about the 1/4 mile...

The cars are 1/28th scale. So, if we do the math, that means that

1 mile = 63360" or 5280'
1/4 mile = 15840" or 1320'

So we take the 1/4 mile measurements and divide by 28 and get...

1/4 mile at 1/28th scale = 565.71" or 47.14'

I dunno what their range is, but I am sure you'd have to run along with the car.

I have the RSX too. I just put it together a couple of days ago, but I didn't get any upgrades though.

I just decided to go nitro when I messed with rc cars. The car I have is a Nitro TC3 running 20% nitro fuel and has been clocked at 51mph so far.

Speaking of breaking, I did break the dam mirror off mine taking it past objects on the folks wood flooring. It also hit walls and stuff headon with no problems. But the mirrors are so weak with a thin connector piece. I wonder if I can buy replacements.

i got one, noone here can beat mine... RSX with body kit, AWD, "secret" mods, lights (DONT race with em on, way slower)... rims, tires, gears, suspension "custom " modified... mine is Q-U-I-C-K.... LMAO... we had em day before they came out cause this nerd kid called us and told us they got em in.. plus we got em at cost.. haha

FYI on the speed question... I read elsewhere that you can expect 20-35 mph depending on the motor, mods, etc.

I am not sure how to acurately test the speed unless you get a speed tester (they look kinda like a dyno). Dunno if a radar detector will pick them up basedon their size.

I just got one a few days ago i got the RSX it pretty quick stock but i wanna drop it and put a faster motor in it also i wanna do the AWD upgrade the thing drifts like every corner doing full speed
