Wat do u'll think, and is halo brighter or is the TYC projectors brighter? i have heard different opinion and i would like to know which one i should get and where should i get it from and how much should i expect to pay at the most. watever u guys can help me with, plz do so. i am thinking halo would look freaking tite as hell at nights, but plz give me ur opinions.
lease: Lot of my friends say get halos, while a lot of the members in the site are saying TYCs
.TOO MUCH ARGUMENT, so help me out.

.TOO MUCH ARGUMENT, so help me out. i have tyc projectors and i love them. i looked at halos but ended up with the TYCs. they are so tyte! i paid 264 for them with shipping but you might be able to find them for cheaper. just dont order from speedpeople. com cuz they suck
I have the halo's, and the light output isnt that great. I herd TYC has better light out put, but not that much of an improvement. I think Halo's look waaaayyy better than TYC, but I know TYC is better quality and has more light output. Stock headlights still give out the most light. Im about to put back my stock headlights because one of my lenses for the halo's got lose so I gotta open it up and fix it. I seen halo's go for like 145$ shipped on e-bay. The lowest I seen TYC is 195$ shipped i believe. Also, when your driving with the lights on, you cant even see the halo. Its no where near what the bmw halo's look like, so if you get them, dont expect them to have a clear visbile ring. You can basically only see it when its dark out, and with your headlights off. Check out "my ride" I have a few pics of them.

the halos look super sweet but the brightness could be an issue. personally I'm going to get the halos sometime in the future but I'm a tightwad so it'll be a while.

Here's my halo projectors.
I bought them for the 'organized' layout of the bulb pods. The pods are evenly sized and straight across. I didn't hook up the halos, because I don't really care and they do burn out after a period of usage.
My next choice would have been black TYCs, except for what I just said. If you're concerned about legality, then just pay for TYCs and you get a 'US street legal/dot compliance' certificate and you also get a warranty (i think).
Light output from any aftermarket headlamps will not be the same as the stock headlamps because the whole housing is used to aim the beam in the stock headlamps. You should pick out MTEC or PIAA bulbs to get the best results. These bulbs are not weaker than stock bulbs; if you use them in stock headlamps, then you will actually get a brighter light, but it's the aftermarket headlamp that takes away the brightness because it only uses a small pod to focus the beam.

They really shouldn't (when brand new), unless you take them apart. But it would be a good idea to seal them up with Silicon or other sealant. just so you don't have to take them off the car after you install them and if they do fog up.
