i found this device that turns off your check engine light when not using a catalytic converter (http://www.bigjoshracing.com/store/s...66704154.25149)....... does not having a catalytic converter hurt your car in any way and what would the benifits be?

hmm.. honestly, dont know about much other cons (besides the emissions factor), and if you get pulled over, just hope the cop doesnt bother inspecting..
