i already have a glass octane front, so i know what it is. and yeah, im sure i want a glass front. they aer cheaper, and i can repair them. matter of fact, i am in the process of rebuilding my octane front where i hit a cat. but i want a spare to have for shows, etc. i am positive that this is the R33 Skyline Front.

If it is legit, then yes, that is a good price.

Dr5D - the grille on that kit looks saggy as hell.

The urethane front will sag at the grill. Get FG unless you know you will mess it up.

that one y'all are showing is the octane or r-34 front.. i think dude's asking about the r-33 (or opium) front

you can prolly find a better pic without the whole "extremedimensions.com" crap all over it..

the r33 front, as pictured in the extreme dimensions pic is what i am talking about. matter of fact, that is where it is being sold for $174. i am assuming that that is before shipping of course. and yes, it is the real r33 front.

so let me get this straight, you're saying that fiberglass kits are cheap and shitty? my personal opinion on glass -vs- urethane, sure, urethane is more durable for driving conditions. but, the glass kits have the ability to be more intricate. the more intricate kits are glass. sure, they make urethane copies, but the majority of urethane kits are copies of original glass kits, with the exception of a few manufacturers such as wingswest, xenon, and a few others. for you, urethane may be fine. but look at the kits once they are installed. the majority of the time, the glass kits look better on the car. for example, look at the pic of the octane/r34/opium kit pictured above, see how saggy the grille is? hmm, and its a urethane kit, if i read correctly. my VIS octane kit had no sag in the grille, when installed or off the car for that matter. in actuality, there is no better kit, IMO, neither glass nor urethane will survive a wreck. which brings me to my next point. if this is going to be my front for shows, what does it matter if it's glass or urethane? it is going to see no driving time. its only gonna be on the car at shows, etc. o, and the last point, being as glass kits are shitty, could you call VIS, or Bomex, or Veilside, or some of the other big name companies that make kits, and tell them that their kits are shitty and subpar because they are glass?

I know it is because it says opium on the back of mine!

and popcorn, man you need to chill out. If its just for shows FINE nobody argued about that. Also, it depends on the wreck that may happen if either kit is broken. I have run into a curb with mine, and it only gets scratched, whereas a glass one would have shattered... But like was covered, if its only for shows it does not matter
