I emailed them about 1/2 a year ago....they said they are not going to develop anything for our cars....It dosen't mean that it wouldn't give good gain...it's just that they are more worried about the K series engines right now...Give it time...I'm sure they will eventually come up with something...As for now, just get a VAFC 2 or AFC 2 and tune it.

Damn....did I read that forum right and they havent responded since march? We need to make it known that if they develope something, there will be a big turn out and that they should seriously consider it.

I just emailed Hondata and informed them of the great amount of concern for an application for our cars. We'll wait and see what they have to say. I'm sure it wont hurt for everyone to email them......It might cause them to think twice.....I say go for it

well interest does not equal sales... most of the time, when confronted with $$ people dont stay interested, besides, hondata ecu's usually are pricy.. and the last thing you do before

Ok.......Hondata is amazing. My buddy has 406hp on his Civic and it should run like crap but he recently bought Hondata and it runs like a brandnew honda. You cant even tell its running. Buying Hondata after a turbo kit or a build would be the best investment. Not to mention the extra power you can get from it. I say go for it, we have nothing to lose.

yes, but, they have to have a good KNOWN setups in order to program them correctly, i mean, theres only so much u can do with the d17 right now, and i doubt that they are going to shell out all that money on r&d

as much as i would like to see this happen just because a fee members here are interested doesnt exactally mean its gonna be woth Hondatas money and time to R&D this product. I highly doubt a few emails from some people will do any good. Maybe in the future itll be a different story but as of right now i dont forsee anything happening

You're probably more than right but I am just getting frustrated with the lack of focus on our cars as I am sure everyone else is. Hondata would be a great addition but personally dont see it happening either. There has to be someone out there who can program our ecu's pretty close to Hondata's system. We'll have to keep a lookout for anything.

yea i know what you mean. The lack of interest by tuning companies is discouraging but look at it this way. In 01 everyone was griping because no one would make a turbo for our cars and no one would bothering tuning our cars and later on three turbo compaines decided to take an interest. Now we have SF thats not only making a turbo but internals, IM, etc and taking a Civic into the High 13s on stock internals. Give it time and things will happen. I think that because our engines are so differnt from the last gens that Tuners have to start from square one all over again and with the Kseries dominating we are on the low end but i think that with time we can achieve the goals we are working towards
