do not buy those strut bars from ebay.
i bought one of those strut bars because i thought i could save some money. man was i wrong . it wouldn't fit with my intake .and the thing that pissed me off was the company posted a fake number and stated that there were no returns on their email.

what kind intake do you have? ebay ones CAN be fit with any intake. you just have to tilt sturt tower bar. if you received sturt bar that are made for other generation civics. wont fit.
i don't know man but i'm pissed. i ended up spending thirty four bucks on that piece of crap. the number that was on the box was some old ladies house and she says that all kinds of people are calling for that reason

well for the front its true only name brand sruts fit with intakes but you dont have to buy dc or whatever i got tenzo its not a cheap one and yet it still wasnt expensive it was like 80 bucks or something but for the back ebay is ok because it doesnt have to clear anything
dude, i have the same strut bar you have...And i bent the brackets and made it go just in front of the intake. No problems
Well not i got a superinlet intake its huuuge so the only one that will fit is the neuspeed, but since you have your kind of intake. It will fit.
There are numerous threads about this.

I just got one of those ebay strut bars for 23 bucks total including shipping and at the same time purchased a knock off injen sri 50 bucks. the bar fits over the intake barely but when i took it for a test drive i heard it hitting the intake when the engine would vibrate. i may try the bar forward technique or my buddy at work says he has some foam tape that will fit under the bar and allow it not to rub. the intake was from ssautochrome.com it needed a little modification and is alittle loud but other wise i am happy with it.

My ebay strut bar fits perfectly fine over my Injen SRI. Absolutely no problems. I had to relocate the Clutch Fluid Resovoir but that took all of two minutes, just dropped it down to the next 10mm bolt on the tower. Neuspeed bars or DC Sports are the only ones I have seen fit with the AEM style intakes without modifications.
nice looking engine bay clown, I thing my intake sits a little higher than yours cause it clears but will occasionally rub, making a metal on metal sounding, ting! does your bar sit at a slight angle not perfectly parallel to the ground? and is your intake loud especially in 2nd and 3rd? I love the red wire cover and fuse box did you paint those or purchase them? thanks for the pic.
i took it out until i could make it fit better. i will know later i drive a wicked winding road to work while i am on call and i noticed a huge difference after i put 17's and z rated tires the car hugs the turns with no give whatso ever and if the strut bar helps i'll take those 35 mph turns at 70. I already take them at 55 plus ....... god i love it! and then i anticipate lowering my car at least 2 inches which should help even more........ I will turn that 30 minute drive into a 15 minute one

The Neuspeed front strut bar fits with any intake (I think). It has a bend in it so that intakes will fit. Plus, it's one piece construction.
I have an eBay rear strut bar. It's not as sturdy as like the Cusco $180 ones, but it was only $25. There's no intake in the trunk to get in the way, either. Honestly, I didn't really notice any difference when I installed it (the rear one), but I guess it's better to have it and not need it...
But an RSX rear sway bar, now that made an awesome difference.

For those that argue that you get what you pay for, you are somewhat right. I will agree that the DC sports, Neuspeed, and Cusco bars for our cars are much beefier. They may do a better job but there is no real way to know without testing. Since installing my front and rear strut bars I have noticed a significant difference in chassis flex, as well as a tighter feel when taking corners. They are good enough for me, and I doubt spending $200 for a strut bar and $30 for a strut bar will make that much of a difference at an autox. Springs and sway bars are a whole nother ball game though.

the only problem i have with the DC is that it sits real close to the clutch resevoir and the dip stick but other than that no problems. and it did stiffen the front as far as body flex cuz i dont have one on the rear and its all over the place in a curve. just chuck it up as a loss and fork out the bucks for something decent hell its only 35$ live and learn
clown what does WOT mean..... have you painted your brakes yet it made my car look great. if i ever figure out the way to do it i will post some pics. I cant wait to get the strut bar in place i am sure it will be very nice I love taking corners now!!! just wait til the strut bar is in place... Anyone have any experience with the rear strut bar does it help much?????
