Windshield blades... Need help

I replaced the blades with OEM blades... The only thing is.. when it rains the blade does ****... It makes it worse and leaves these weird marks all over the windsheild...

I heard that they could be dirty? So i put rubbing alcohol on them, and cleaned them... That didnt do anything..

Perhaps i got a shitty blade?

same thing happens to me. I talked to the guy at Advance Auto, and he said to just clean it vigorously with Alcohol, both the blade and the windshield. I just took a whole shitload of windex to them both, and used a cloth instead of paper towels, and it worked pretty well. I think the main problem is the blades...when I cleaned them, a whole bunch of black **** came off, even when wiping them like the 8th time...just clean it real well. Also, have you tried Rain-X? I don't know if that works or not.

I read about a new type of windshield wiper blade, its by Anco its called HydroClear wiperblades, they "use a synthetic compund that beads water upon contact. The wipers' schoop-shaped wiping element then lifts all of the water fomr the windshield surface. Natural ruber blades by comparison, attract weter." (Popluar Mechanics) I want to give them a shot they sound good. Heres the companys website www.federal-mogul.com/anco

I was looking at blades and in the lookup book at the store, it said to use a 20" and a 19" blade. One for driver side, the other for passenger side...thats what the book said, not me.

thats kinda weird to use two different sizes on the same car......but anyway rain-x does a great job as long as you don't streak it....my friend made that mistake and the water ran until one streak in the windsheild and it made the vision worse....I have never had a problem with my blades.....
