**New Pics!! . . Cheap chrome tip, who's next?
Ok. . Bellz and I have both installed this chrome tip on our car. Who will be the next person to run down to Advance Auto Parts and put it on their car?
The tip isn't bad. It's a cheap solution for those that don't have the $$ to get a new exhaust, but want the tail pipe to look a little bit better than stock.. It's very easy to install and under $10. The old one that I had was starting to rust out pretty bad and I've been wanting to get a new one. Bellz was telling me about his and it has inspired me.
Bellz has a pic of the tip on his car here.
Here are my pics. . The first 2 are of my nasty old tip that I had on there. It was rusted on and when I put it on I had to tap it on with a hammer so it was stuck on there pretty good.
As you can see I had a hard time getting this thing off, after about a half hour, I had this thing OWn3d.
Now. . here are pics of the new one. (Ignore the Fucus)
This one shows the mouting bracket, which is invisible unless you are looking down the pipe.
So. .What do you all think? Don't critize too much. . I don't have the $$ for a full exhaust or even a rear section. So this is just to dress it up for now.

nothing wrong with tips.
plenty of stock cars comes with polished tips for better look.
honda offers it for our car too. just a rip off price thats all.
as long as they're not like add on 4 inch tips... tips that are the same size as the stock's tip is fine to me.
btw if its just chrome plated or coated.. its gonna burn up or get dirty really quick from exhaust deposits...
stainless steel is the way to go..
but thats expensive for just a tip.

to answer for sedan owners, what I did was cut the angle on the OEM tip, so it was flush w/ the car and then added a $20- stainless steel tip, it's a bit of money, but if it's not ss, it'll look like the first pic on this board, all shitty in just a few weeks.
try the integra LS/GS(?) tip. that's what i have. it matches pretty well. i had some guys fooled thinking i had an exhaust.
hahahaha!!

i had a tip before i got my exhaust. it was a bigger one, it was close to $25. now i have a real pipe that i paid $55 on ebay. its not the whole system, but it looks a whole lot better than the tip.

at least it isn't one of those bells that go on the end of high flow mufflers. There is this girl that is a Zeta at my school that has one of those and altezzas on a silver 2003 civic. She always walks by my car and says hers looks better. I just smile and nod and flip her off when she walks by. I always just say at least daddy didn't pay for mine.
