i need help really quick guys

i goofed really bad i just put in an autometer tachometer 5" monster tach everything works great except i wanted to change the bulb in the tach from clear to red i took the two screws out of the part where adjust the shift light point now i cant the screws back in because the nuts behind it wont stay in place they keep moving away from it i know i messed up but can anyone please help if you know how to take the tach apart please let me know or tell me how to put that piece back on

dammit my post disappeared. i meant the nuts that are moving.. glue your problem nuts but make sure it doesnt get into the hole you are trying to screw. otherwise it wont go in
