How long does it take to clean your filter?

I've had mine on for 10,000 miles and I haven't cleaned it yet.

How long does it take, and how long does it take to dry (like how long until you can use your car again)?

I have the one that comes with K&N FIPK2.

Thanks.

That's a little soon to clean it unless there is a lot of dirt on it. The kit requires that you wash out the filter with water from clean to dirty side after using the cleaning soln. Once it's clean, I recommend air drying it over night and applying the oil in the morning. So technically it just takes one night. You can drive it the next morning after applying the oil.

Thats what I do. I normally get up, apply oil and let it sits for few more hours b4 driving it. So it will give enough time for the oil to soak in.

Be careful on how much oil you use. I cleaned and oiled mine and let it sit overnight to find a nice pool of oil on the table the next morning.

I think mines about a year old now and needs a cleaning. Last time i looked at it a few days ago it didnt seem super dirty but I cant tell unless I pull it.

Is there an easy way to pull it without removing half the intake?

Yea, you can access it from under the car. Just jack the car up and loosen the metal clamp that holds it to the piping and just pull it off.

on my k&n it says every 50,000-100,000 miles, not sure what filter you have exactly though.
