can anyone tell me why any one would want to put a stiffer hanger on their exhaust. the reason for the soft ones is to absorb the vibrations of the exhaust. with a stiffer hanger the whole car absorbs the vibrations.

Thats not the problem the exuast is welded right it just moves a little bit and i dont like that its not the metal hanger its the rubber hangers and its not so stiff it doesnt absorb the vibrations it still will it just is stiffer so the exaust doesnt move at all

its designed to move..... deal with it . do u have spring washers on each flange? their supposed to deal with the moving... otherwise ... its not ur exhaust thats causing the movement.. its ur Engine... get new engine mounts if any are bad.
and the exhaust is designed to move alil...
