Do you have an ATX???...i suggest this...
on my other car...the tranny was slipping due to a worn down seal...i got some stuff called Lucas Slip Stop it worked like a charm...anyone who wants to avoid problems should try it and if u got a slipping tranny...this stuff worked great for me...btw, this is not an advertisement...just spreading the knowledge

Haha, it comes in a white bottle?
My local Kragans has this small display with gears you rotate. One side has regular oil and other had Lucas treated oil. The Lucas stuff really did help with sticking to your gears for better lube. But I've never tried it out.
BTW, funny how you have a Civic and a Probe...I have a 92 LX v6 sitting in my garage along with my vic. =)
