Anyone gone....stock????
Anyone gone....stock????
all we hear about is how we put all this **** on our car.
but has anyone gone stock after having done a bunch of stuff?
i recently put my car back to stock including removing:
rims(still for sale)
cf hood
neuspeeds(still for sale)
AEM(still for sale)
Magnaflow(still for sale)
Revo
Pioneer MP3(still for sale)
and i gotta tell you, it honestly is more comfortable to drive now than it was before. and no more rednecks in mustangs revving at you, or 17 yr olds with altezza lights and chopped springs revving at you, or going slow over speed bumps.
im glad i did it.

Good for you. If thats what you really want good for ya. No I havent gone stock thats because I am stock. I think I'm going to stay that way for a long time or forever. Always wanted to get a delSol and make it fast. But my civic is auto and I dont see much point in I/H/E and other stuff. My question for you is why sell your stereo stuff?

I sort of went back. When I first got the car, I did alot of stupid mods. Most of those are gone now. I took off the intake, colored wipers, stickers, and a few other things. I do have cleared headlights, altezza grill, and exhaust, but they are nice looking mods. Oh and my tezzas are gone yay!

its so hard, yet when you put your mind to it, i bet you i can pull it off
but then at the same time, im still trying to look for more parts on my ride..

I was completely stock for the first 2 years I had the car and now that I have the freedom (no g/f bills and no warranty worries) and the money to mod a little I'm finally personalizing my car. In a college town like mine, there must be 10 other 01+ silver sedans in my complex alone, probably more like 125 other ones around town, mine is the only one that isn't completely stock.
I dunno ... haha .. I don't know why people would wanna go back to stock ... T_T;;
If they spent all this money to customize their car the way they wanted it, why go back to stock ... ?

Almost stock is the best stock. All you need is a set of good full coilovers, some wheels with a not too skinny tire.
I would just risk a lil' of our car's stock civility with a drop and some performance tires to make the car handle and look better. The rest can stay.
It's easier to go fast if you just start out with a fast/quick car. And yes, a lot less hassle that way.

Having a 'modded' car might impress a certain crowd but it may also be frowned upon. Take police for example. They'll probably be more keen to give a ticked to a civic with a disturbing exaust and a pounding system just because of the fact it is drawing attention. Also, it has been argued about the positives and negatives of certain performance parts. I think that speaks for itself. Maybe its a trend to get out of the system.
exactly. this **** is boring now, there are alot of people who ruin it for the people who do it the right way.
all im saying is my next car will be fast, comfortable, and handle well....STOCK.
DizWiked.....get the CBR600RR. that bike is SICK!
