OK i am thinking about getting my coupe tinted. I just want the Back 2 little ones and the rear window done..........how much will that cost if i get it done prof? and how long can i expect it to last? I hate seeing those ghetto rides that have air bubbles and crappy tint jobs!!! I want something that will last me 3+ years!

I don't know where you are geographically so this will be in Canadian currency.

I paid about $200 for my tint job. The tint was Solar Guard, Llumar is also a good brand.

Definately go to a shop that is reputable, you don't "Joe Hack" doing your tint and messing it up. A good tint job should go right to the upper edge of your windows.

That colored tint (blue, red, two tone and so on) looks cool but the two really good tinters here in town won't use it because they don't feel it lasts very long.

Dont just get the back 2 and rear, it will look like ****. Definitely put atleast 35 on your sides.

Most tinting places offer lifetime warranties, except for special jobs like mirror tint which the place by me has like a 2 yr warranty on that.

I live in cleveland ohio..........what would they charge for lifetime warr. for all my windows 2 sides, 2small back, and rear....(coupe) ?

I put 5% all around in the Solar gaurd charcaol tint, lifetim warranty against bubbles, fading and cracks. Paid 250.00 for everythihg, the 5% cost extra since its not legal.

where are you in cleveland? if you are near bainbridge, there is a good place called Select Image. I think the tinting there is around $180 for the front side windows, rear quarters, and rear window. they are a good place and offer a lifetime warrenty.

I just got 5 window all around tint. The back is 45%, rear is 25%, and the front are 5%. It looks really nice this way. I live in Sacramento and the law in Cali is absolutely NO tint on the front two windows. But if I see a cop I can always just roll the windows down.

make sure and ask the shop whether they use metallic tint or dyed polyester--the dyed polyester will eventually turn purple--the metallic stuff is supposed to last a lifetime. i had mine done with metallic, the brand was Formula One...18 around the back 3 and 28 up front--it's iilegal in va, but my interior is light, so i don't have problems with the po po.

I paid 130 for my sedan. 5% All the way around w/7"window strip. Matco Tint. Its awesome. Just recently had 35% sheet put on front window Love it Cost 15.00 labor and I had the tint. It was Solar Guard and I hate it! It makes everything fuzzy. Its one of the cheaper brands on the market, but it was free so can't say much.

In some states like Cali you cant do the sides, you can do it 70%, but does anyone even do that level of tint? im thinking about getting windows tinted though, i dont understand how restricted colors are r,y and what are legal?

I live in VEGAS where it is nothing for a interior temp of a car to make it to 160+ degrees in the summer... I got my tint (all windows, including windshield ) for $180.00 with lifetime warranty.... and my friend got his truck windows done for 120.00 (all windows)
this price was for privacy tint... but thats only like 10.00 more than legal tint
