Excuse me if I am obsessed but.. www.electricsupercharger.com do you think it actually works.. and umm if it does.. Would it work better on CAI, SRI, or directly connected to the throttle body?

you can find better ways of spending $300 to get gains of 5%.....like a jet computer for $250....it does not "ram" air....but you'll get noticable gains...more than 5% i'm sure....

Jet is a company that you will mail your OEM ECU and they reprogram it with what mods you have and it works with your mods and its supposed to provide some pretty good gains but it should be the last mod you do otherwise itll end up being a waste once you get more mods to your engine.
I think it looks pretty sweet, I would try it. And at only 3lb of boost i doubt any damage to internals. But it says it sucks from the battery, does that sound like a bad idea to anyone else?

jet... is a company that HAS modified computers.....they take in readings from your engine sensors and makes the proper adjustments to air and fuel maps. this is a good thing to have...you don't need to wait till you are done...like the red dragon says....this computer will make adjustments accordingly. the computer he(red dragon) is speaking of, is for eightys cars and older. cars are alot smarter now....hence all the sensors and "evolution" of cars. you can buy a computer(jet) and then send in your old cpu. jet is made for a fully tuned car, then it "retards" depending on sensor readings.....

then put the cash forward and test it for us. No ones else has. If it works then youll get all the props for being the pioneer. I mean in theory it sounds good but if it dosnt work then youve just wasted that money and no one likes that feeling.
Assuming the thing works (sorry kinda doubtful), it'd be best on a CAI. Colder air means more dense air.
Jet chips aren't that good. Reccomend against it. What jet does is they take the list of mods you have down and blindly approximate the settings based on their own setups and experience. However, each car is different, and so the ECU you get back is not optimized for your car. Dynotune is the only way to go.
I'm skeptical because it's a dinky looking fan. While I guess 1 psi is sort of a believably low number, something with the voltage of a nice stereo is not going to be able to ram a significant amount of air.
It doesn't seem as other fishy stuff out there, but I'd be careful.

Um I dont have it cause I dont trust anything til its proven. But to answer your question here is a direct quote copied from their website ...
"you are removing a stock airbox, gains for cool air tubes and cone filters are up to 5HP. The eRAM with its 5-15 HP just adds to those gains giving over 20 HP of total gain for the eRAM system."
Basically what they mean is since CAI gives the most then that gets added to the E-ram boost. there fore you get more power!
I think it has Scam written all over it but I dunno. Be the Pioneer and tell us all how it goes!!

Here's another quote guarenteeing power or your money back
Performance Guarantee:
After purchasing and (properly) installing the e-RAM on your engine, you do not feel that the performance increase is what we have claimed (4%-6% HP increase), you just need to do the following within 30 days of receiving your e-RAM to get a full refund*.. Take your car to a dyno test in your area. Make dyno runs with and without the e-RAM activated, and take a picture of how it was installed. Mail the e-RAM back to us with the picture, a copy of your receipt, and a clear copy of your dyno comparison results (signed as witnessed by the technician running the dyno). If the dyno shows the e-RAM does not increase horsepower in your engine by an average of at least 4% of its previous horsepower throughout the 3000 to 6000 rpm range, and we conclude from the picture that you have installed the unit correctly, we will give you a full refund* and even pay for 1/2 your dyno fee! (up to a maximum of $50 reimbersement) *Full refund does not include shipping charges *Please see "compatability information" section below We challenge any other manufacturer of aftermarket bolt-on horsepower devices to make the same commitment! We know it works!

You can buy the blowers that they sell on eBay for $20 or so from boating stores. I forgot what they're called, though.
As for their money back guarantee, it's probably the same as what infomercial people do.
Studies show that of everyone who is dissatisfied, only like 10% are motivated enough to actually take a company up on it's "money back guarantee." So, they make profit from 90% of the people right there. Then, even if you do get your money back after 30 days, your money was still in their interest-bearing account for 30 days, so even if they give you back your purchase price, they've still made some money off of you.
It's about profit.

I still totally think someone should try this. But I hope you can't hear the Eram motor whining when you're driving like you could hear it in the video.
