Elite said he could get the K20A for $2600 shipped. Which is hard to believe. Then he said it was the K20A1. I just want to know which one it is. The K20A1 is in the CTR in Japan. It is detuned a little bit from the RSX type R motor. I still do not believe that he can get that motor that cheap. I think he is mistake for what motor it is, and that he thinks it is the K20A(RSX type R) motor when it is really the K20A3(SI) motor that he can get for $2600.
Make sense?

Well he didn't say what motor it is. I sounds like it is a K20A2(RSX type S) due to it having a 6-speed. I do not think it is a K20A because their is no LSD in the list he gave about the motor.
And I personaly would not buy anything from that ****. He said NO customer pick up, and a bank transfer to his account only? Sounds like a scam to me.

Re: I want to purchase Honda Integra K20A Type R Engine Complete Swap assembly.
THE swap is not easy to say the least.. im in the process of doin it.. and theress NOOOOOOOOO way u can use the stock mounts...
the mount kit is 650
the sub frame is 500 and change...
u need integra axles if u wanna keep 4 lug
and u need civic si radiator with all the fixations!
this is not a cheap swap...
Im getting my engine for 3500 .. a type s with 3k on it...
its gonna cost me about 6k for the swap. and Im installing it myself so .. im saving another 2-3k for install

Ya im thinking about doing it myself, btw I need to know exactly what is needed for everything, my cord support is bent on the bottom of the radiator because I jacked my car up in the wrong place do I need to fix this? the radiator is fine its just moved up about a 1/2 inch because of that and cut the top hose on the frame when it moved up, than that how much will the axels cost? and whats the civic si radiator with all the "fixations"?
hey whats up guys just to confirm about the mounts on the swap, you do not have to have the hasport mounts you can use the rsx mounts to do the swap not the civic mounts the rsx mounts will give it a cleaner look. This has been discussed i believe a few times plus if you do your research you will know exactly what you need and if you talk to the right people who can tell you without doubt. Listening to people who think they know will get you in trouble too much money is involed in doing this swap you do want to make a boo boo it may cost you. I wilkl be doing this swap as well but i have researched this very well and have talked to a few shops and several people that know about this swap that does this stuff for a living.

Jodster, you don't know what you're talking about. USDM engines are given #s at the end of their engine codes just to make them stand out from their JDM counterparts. It's nothing special really. All JDM K20As have no # on the end of them. All JDM B18Cs have NO NUMBER on the end of them. A JDM Civic Type R would not have a # at the end of it's engine code whether it's B16A or K20A, the code is the same in 4 characters, not 5.
The Euro spec EP3 Civic Type R says K20A2 which should say enough on which engine the CTR has. It's nothing more than the RSX Type S engine with shorter gearing and a 11.5 compression ratio instead of 11.1.
No B.S.ing.

It may "virtually" be a K20A1 to you but how? It doesn't exist and the motor is basically a Type S motor.

My bad about the numbers being on the end of JDM motors. I see what you guys are talking about. The UK CTR has the K20A2 in it, but the JDM CTR has the K20A in it. Thats what I've been told.

Oh, and FYI - the JDM K20A from the Integra Type R is not 220HP, it's 220PS. When you translate PS into HP it's 217HP. It's the same as the JDM B18C for the DC2R. It was 200PS but it translates into 197HP, just -2HP from the USDM spec B18C5.
