Question exhaust

I have an HKS hiper exhaust which is a rear section only. Does anyone know if there is a part to replace where it bolts on to? I am sure that removing that wonderful emmision controling piece it would free up some more hp. Thanks

yeah muffler shops can turn your rear section into a full cat back for cheap cheap cheap. Just don't let them put a resonator on the piping, unless you want some of the sound quieted.

SMX is on a distinguished road
Exhausts sound fine without the resonator as long as you got a decent muffler. No reason to run your exhaust through any more restrictions than you have to...

aftermarket resonators are typically the blow thru type and do not constrict the flow very much at all. Having one will not affect the performance of your car. If you want LOUD then go with no resonator.
