DC TCS or A'PEXi WS
I need help deciding...I have done massive research, but am missing a few minor details...Thats where hopefully everyone here can help.
DC TCS-All Stainless
, Quality is B to B+ (leaks in welds etc.), Sound ???? (no sound clip available), Will it scrape????? (car is lowered 1.5"), More $ than WS, Large 4" tip
A'PEXi WS-Stainless Muffler & tip w/ coated piping, General quality of A'PEXi products is an A, Sound ???? (no sound clip available, but heard is quite), will it scrape????? (car lowered 1.5"), Cheaper than TCS, Tip is 4" as well
Anything I am forgetting, any pros or cons please add...feedback greatly appreciated.....these are both quite, which is what I need......

The TCS is a great sounding exhaust...The world sport is real quite, but sounds deep. As far as performance, no matter what exhaust you choose, you wouldn't notice the difference. I wouldn't suggest the racing medallion because my friend has it on his 02 Civic and it is way too loud IMO kinda ricey sounding as well, but that's my opinion.
Im planning on getting the WS, my friend had it on his 2000 lude, it was nice and deep, not too loud... he had an N1 but ditched it b/c it was so noisy, the WS gives more mid to high end power. As far as a sound clip... Ill search around and let ya know.

The TCS is not an average looking exhaust but fits well if you have a coupe. I've heard one locally, and it has an amazing sound. Perfect for a civic. I think the apexi looks more like a regular muffler. I have a thermal muffler on my sedan that's loud enough. I figure any cat-back will be even louder. Seems like alot of money for an exhaust that won't add much performance. You're paying for the look and sound.
Personally I like the stock-ish look of the WS. I think the TCS is just damn goofy lookin regardless of power and sound. And everywhere that I shop online the TCS is more expensive... I think the WS looks, sound, power, and cost wise is one of the best all around exhausts. Just my $.02

There actually is a sound clip of the DC TCS. It was on the page of one of the other exhasut clips... http://galileo.spaceports.com/~ebudg...egs/mpegs.html there ya go...it's the bottom 2 clips. Enjoy.
i say be diff, and go with the WS and try it out, write a review for it, and post some sound clips, maybe find a site that makes easy returns, and if you dont like it, send it back
just my .02 cents

...since most catbacks for our car give similar gains, it should come down to preference. the WS is one of the quietest exhausts and is very discrete looking. i had trouble with the WS rattling a bit, and know a friend who did as well. my car is lowered about 2 inches and the exhaust hardly ever scrapes... hope this helps
