Question Exhaust Question...

I have always wondered something. I got the Apexi WS Exhaust setup a long time ago, and this always bothered me. I have seen other 7th gens with other Exhaust setups and never seen this. My pipe that runs under the car seems to sag really low. In essence about 1.5 inches lower than the rest of the car. I am thinking it should really be higher up? It just looks strange for some reason...Prolly cuz I never seen that before.

I tried to put my hand between the pipe top and the car to see if I can feel some space that may be there for the pipe to actually be in, but I felt no space. Could it really be so big as to not fit up under the car properly?

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Got some pics..

If you browse the pics page I link here, you can see 3 pics I attempted to take of how it seems to sag down.

The only thing I would suggest is , If you have access to a lift, put it up on the lift, and check out the whole set up, make sure that everything is inline and routed the right way. I have a Greddy Evo 2
and mine doesn't sag or anything like yours.. Just make sure it is mounted up right.. and nothing causing it to go down like that..
Good luck!

make sure the mounting brackets are connected to the exhaust pipe... maybe one came off?

Hmm...

Ok, I will have to get a muffler shop to lift the car to see if something came off or something like that. I have never had an issue driving the car with it this way, just concerned cuz it was sagging.
