a few days ago i stepped on a bulb and put it back in without thinking it might be screwed up. the next day the light goes out and i had just got my new PIAAs in and was going to change em out. well i came to realize the light pigtail had melted. when i got to honda today they gave me some **** and im just like whatever change it out. with a new pigtail and install the price came out around $90. is this not bullshit?

You think that's bad? I ordered two motor mounts from them a few days ago, 118.95 for one motor mount (driver side top), and 68.63 for the other (front lower). Then when I goto pick it up today, turns out that they made a mistake and ordered the wrong part, but they did have the right part for me, but it was 74.95 instead of the 68.63, so I had to pay the difference for THEIR mistake! That, my friend, is what we call bullshit.

I order all of my parts myself to save on dealer markup, either that or I get it through a shop that can get all honda parrts at cost. I don't go to the dealer for anything, I've got friends for mechanics for a reason. And one of them is about to be the manager of the local Menikie, can you say custom exhaust?

same here. If it's replacable and easy to repair, I'll try it myself. I love Majestic Honda (www.hondaautomotiveparts.com). you guys auto buy your own parts from that website too. It'll get to you faster than dealership get their 'special orders' and you won't get superovercharged as well. But I only know enough about d17s to know that they're slow, so I leave the engine to Honda mechs.
