Knocking Exhaust

I just installed my new Skunk 2 exhaust. The tone is amazing but the midpipe is banging like hell under my car at random times. Anyone else have this problem. Everything else is stock except for an Injen CAI but stock CAT and Header.

Put heat wrapping around the part of the exhaust that is touching the car. That will stop the knocking.

watch out with wrapping it with exhaust wrapping... that stuff keeps moisture in when it gets wet, so it may rust faster than normal.

Yea, when you start off (if a 5spd) you do get a fair amt of vibration. I suspect you only hear it in that situation or at least most of the time.

The dynamat should work. It has foil on the outside right?

Yeah, but now looking on the midpipe even more i realized if i get the entire exhaust from the cat to go about an inch back more my rear bumper wont melt anymore and it should stop the rattle - wish me luck tomorrow
