i am a girl (obviously) and i am looking for seats for my 2002 black civic 2 door lx.... I dont want just black or silver or red or blue. i am looking for something with HOT pink... like black on the outer part, w/the middle hot pink... I dont even know how to start to search for them.. they can be either leather or cloth... please HELP!!

My only input on interior re-upholtery is look for Restoration Shops near you. Old car guys know all about this stuff.

Also, I've noticed a few ads in the back pages of the sport compact type magazines.

Leatherskins or somethin' like that!

you can get leather kits that cover the seats in custom colors or you could reupholster your OEM seats. The racing seats would look better once you reupholster but your gonna have to buy some that are the regular colors. I have a set of Seats meant for your car for sale if your interested. I agree. Katzkins is good. But if you go to a body shop and tell them what you want to do, I'm sure they can find a way to customize it for you. You'd probably be able to save yourself some $$$.

Find a shop that does vinyl work and get them vinyled. i am lookin into getting it done. its gonna run me somewhere around 500 for the whole interior. Thats with two colors.

i went to that katzkin.com, which turns into autoleathers.com..
they have everything BUT pink.. and their prices are $600 something or $700... is that a pair, or just one? might be a dumb question, but i didnt know... but again, there was no pink to choose... and everyone is saying go to an uphoster shop... like what? a car shop? a CAR upholster shop? or just a regular upolster shop?? man i dont even know where to BEGIN!!!

Go to your local VW dealer and ask. The better ones that I've dealt with all know where to go for the best katzkin. The katzkin installer should be able to get ahold of hot pink for you.

Look in your local phone book for vinyl or leather repolstry. that is probally your easiest way to do it. Thats how i found the places that are doin mine. if your get it vinyled you can get it done in any color. I was told that they can match color too with vinyl.

Just get your OEM seats rewrapped in vinyl. That's probably your best choice if you want odd colors. They can do your seats, door panels, and arm rest to match. I think around where I live, two tone front/rear seats, door panels, and center console come to around 600-900 bucks. Call around to some upholstrey places and get a quote.

its pretty hard to find stuff like this in louisiana, really you should ask around locally. I live in NO east near Michoud, where alot of people are into this kind of stuff, ill try to ask around for you but most people act like their giving away government secrets or something.

You know what would be easy and cheapest...Go buy one of those 3A Racing seats from pepboys and take it to a custom upholstery shop and get the pink suede put on...That'll be hot(for a girl) What color car???

my car is black... (coupe)... i have 17's, projector headlights.. euros... exhaust, etc... spoiler on the back... so when u look at it in a parking lot, you would expect a guy to be driving in it. so i want people to know that a girl really is the owner.. ya know?? so can ANY upholster place do this?? i dont want to do anything to my regular seats, because when i sell/trade in, i want the factory stuff... i'd pay for new seats, but i'd really like seat covers... not like the kind that look like they are from walmart, but the kind that fit very tight... i dont care how much i have to pay.. but i dont want to "settle" for anything..i want it to be just how i want it... thanks for all of your help.. keep the suggestions coming...
