whats better?

Looking around, I only see the REVO short shift kit and OBX and other similar kits. Those are basically are just the stock "transmission box" (i don't know what that white thing is called) with a shortened rod.

Then there are those other short shift adapters.

Lastly, I've seen those short shift kits where its just a anodized replacement rod but they don't have that for our cars.

I was wondering if (if they come out for our cars) I can put one of those anodized rods into a REVO box, and whether or not that would make a difference. The REVO kit's rod is just plain nasty lookin (not that anyone will be able to see it under the shift boot) I was just wondering if that will make a difference, and IF there are plans in making that anodized stick for our cars.

no, the revo is your best option available. i dont think you can put the anodized rods in the revo because the anodized rods are designed for different types of linkages to the transmission. the civic has a cable system, for which the revo is designed, the rods are for the rod type linkages or something. anyway, why mess with whats not broken? the revo is a great shifter, dont mess it up just cause you want it to look better.

not sure why you really would care how it looks since you cant see it anyway.

if you really want you could just metal cast the shifter but personaly i would just leave it alone like PbFoot said " why mess with whats not broke"
