oooh man i have the cat back its awesome i luv it, looks great not to beefy like the tanabe one. go to www.listentomyexhaust.com its on a 6th gen but rougly the same. really deep n not toooo loud just right everyone thats heard my exhaust n seen it on my car luvs it.
I have one on my 2002 ex and it sounds great! Not high pitched and has a mellow tone ... I added a downpipe with my I/H/E today and it gets LOUD when I am running it full bore ... One of the best sounding systems I heard while I was researching my choice ...

It's been on my car since August 2002 and I'm selling it because I am buying my brother's Integra. No problems with it. I love the sound and thought it compliments my SRI, and HP header well (which are also for sale)

hawk has the skunk2 cat-back. it sounds incredible!! he had the DC-TCS on before, and that sounded great. but the skunk2 sounds perfect. it looks good too, he has no kit, and the tip sits right in there. perfect fit. id say ask him for sound clips, but hes not using the d-17 no more, so it wont sound anything like your car would. hehe
id get the skunk2.
