Aftermarket Stereo Steering Wheel Controls
Aftermarket Stereo Steering Wheel Controls
I am installing a Sony double din head (XAV-AX5000) unit into my 09 civic hybrid with navigation. I am trying to retain the steering wheel controls and I purchased a idatalink Maestro SW module. The wiring for this module appears very simple, but I cannot for the life of me find the bluetooth module. According to the wiring instructions I should be tapping into a blue wire on the 28 pin bluetooth module connector, but no information on where to find this connector.
I read that there is a bluetooth module above the glovebox... nope. I read there is a bluetooth module attached to the kick panel under the steering wheel... nope. At this point I have taken a large portion of my dash apart and I can't find the bluetooth module.
Anyone else ever install one of these?? Help please.
