2007 Civic Si 4dr Radio Problems
I have an 2007 SI 4 door. The radio in my car recently broke. I got my hands on a factory ex radio and installed it in my car. I have the proper code, the radio lights up and I’m able to change the radio station. However I’m not getting any sound out of my speakers. I checked all the fuses in the car (with a test light and visually took them out) they all look to be good. Other than the screen color, anyone know if the SI and EX radios are interchangeable or should I be looking for a different problem?

Your EX radio came out of what year and version car?
Your 4 door SI has an external amplifier.
A 2 door EX would likely be the similar to the SI, external amp...but the radios have different part numbers so I cannot say for sure that it would swap.
A 4 door EX radio has an internal amp and will not work as a direct swap.

It came out of a 4d EX. I got it for nothing so I figured I’d give it a shot before sending my radio out. Thanks for the quick reply.
