Rep Power: 0 Dash dimmer wire.
Hey aii, I'm putting a couple of gauges in my 05 Si-G and I wanted to find the Dimmer wire so I can dim my gauges with my dimmer control. I did this with my 03, but I got it backwards and when I'd dim my dash I'd brighten my Gauges and vise versa. I need a schematic to find the right wire, any help is appreciated!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Dash dimmer wire.
If you want to do that, the bulbs in the new gauges must be isolated away from ground (meaning each bulb has two wires instead of single wire).
If each has a single wire, you might only connect to 12v+ and get full brightness.
If two wires per bulb, locate any switch in the dash that's convenient to remove and has dimmable illumination inside it....and tap the two wires that run that bulb, use those to wire your new ones (parallel circuit).
