12v Ingition OnPower Under the Hood-Where to Find?
2006 Civic
I'm having a devil of a time trying to find a 12v source in the engine compartment that is only powered when the ignition is ON. I don't what to have to run a wire from under the dash into the engine compartment. Can anyone help?

Go to the fuse box and 1 by 1 pull the fuses and test for power in the fuse socket when ignition is on. Get a friend to turn the ignition on and off or it'll take forever. Once you find the one you want use an ATC add-a-circuit:

I found only one fuse in the engine compartment fuse box that did not have power to it all the time. It is a 7.5A IGPS Oil Level fuse. I did notice that whenever I turned the key off, it took about 30 seconds for the voltage to go away after hearing a relay click. I guess I can live with that.
