2010 Honda Civic Radio Glare Problem
2010 Honda Civic Radio Glare Problem
I have just recently purchased a 2010 Honda Civic. I had a Clarion Radio installed for XM satellite radio and Bluetooth.
The glare on the radio screen is very, very bad. I cannot see anything on the display at all except at night. I heard from the installer that they sell a "visor" or some kind which eliminates the glare for after market radios in Honda Civics and matches the dash so it still looks pretty good.
Does anyone know where I could purchase one of these or have any other suggestions on how to reduce the glare so I can read the display?
Thank you very much.

there are clear screen protectors that are made to reduce glare. just stick it over the screen and alot of times they sell precut or bulk.

congrats on buying a civic. welcome to horrible radio glare for many years. if i remember, for the 7th gens, there were some people who modified the mounts to angle the deck down some. not sure on the 8th gens though.
