Need some help I parked my 07 Si for close to a year. I moved it from the side of the garage to the front of the garage but tried to get the rear wheels to roll and they just won't break. I am planning on changing out the rotors and breaks. Just wondering if that would be safe to do since it won't budge at all no matter how far I drug it, or if I have to get it unstuck first?

Brake pads probably rusted to the rotor(s) from humidity and lack of use. Are the rotors covered in a heavy layer of rust?
Raise rear wheels off the ground
Make sure the handbrake mechanisms aren't stuck, confirm the cables are slack and the little levers are all the way back on the calipers
I might whack the calipers with a hammer to see if the pads will jar free, maybe use a punch and hammer to tap on each individual brake pad with the same hope.
I'd plan on removing rear wheels and calipers if needed to free the pads. You're gonna do all that anyway if you planned to replace pads and rotors so have them handy and replace them where it sits.
