torque for slider bolts on caliper

Hi,
So I just changed my brake pads on my 2010 honda civic and didn't know if the slider bolts on the caliper needed to be torqued or just put on snug. Do I have to torque? What's the proper ft lbs?

Re: torque for slider bolts on caliper

I don't think it's critical, but i remember it's somewhere in the range of 25-30 ft-lbs for 7th gen civics. Remember to hold the slider pin with a wrench and then torque the bolt head down otherwise it will just spin.
