Rep Power: 0 Car turned off and won't start after blown fuse
I have a 2006 civic lx 1.8L. My dad was recharging and messing with the AC, pulled out the wire (in picture) stuck a test light on it, and the car immediately turned off and the DBW fuse blew. Now it cranks but won't start up. He put a new fuse in, and said he reset the computer by unplugging the battery for a while and still nothing. How bad is it?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

With a VOLT METER check that connector and see if it no longer has 5v reference on the RED wire. If there is no 5v, the PCM is probably ruined. (It really is ruined, but I'm still writing "probably")
Your dad may get to find out just how much a new PCM costs when the dealer has to replace it....including programming. Remember to take ALL of the keys with so programming can be done in a timely fashion.
Plus a tow truck fee to drag it to the dealership.
Better tell the dealer people exactly what he did that caused it to die, so they don't have to go stupid with extra diagnosis fees.
I'm dead serious on all of this.
