Brake issues

Hello I have an 06 civic lx and the brakes start making a very weird rubbing sound after a while of driving, it only started happening after I changed the brake pads so I was wondering if anyone had this problem or any fixes for it, thanks in advance

Check for uneven wear between right and left brakes, you may have a stuck caliper.

Is it a grinding sound?

Yeah but it's only at the end of a stop around 15-0 and only after the brakes heat up

And it gets louder if you step on the pedal harder, right?
Less noticeable if you brake very gently?

It's normally caused by the friction compound the pads are made of.
Sounds like you probably got some cheapo brake pads.

Upgrade to better quality, ceramic, or factory pads?

Damn, for that much money you could have had a set of Hondas pads from a dealer at normal retail price, USD $63.xx.

Cheaper on the internet, plus shipping.

Would you agree the issue probably has to do with the pads you installed?
Were they installed incorrectly?

Is it a bad set of pads?
Got warranty?
Exchange for something completely different?
Get your cash back and go with factory?

The noise I was thinking of has been described as a loud "crunching" noise...or a rapid popping noise.
Mostly happens after the brakes are hot and can get quite loud with hard pedal pressure.
