coolant system issues in 04 civic

Hi,
I'm new to this forum, but am having a lot of coolant system issues, and wondering if anyone has any ideas. Engine was overheating in the early winter, discovered that the radiator cap had "fallen apart", replaced that; engine overheating in late winter, replaced the water-pump. Engine overheating again around memorial day, replaced the thermostat and radiator, engine overheating towards end of June, water pump bad again, so replaced it again (luckily under warranty), today I noticed coolant under my car, opened it up and saw that the cap on the coolant reserve tank is gone. Time to get a new car?

It blew the head gasket long ago.....

Search here, there's a zillion threads started by non-believers that refused to believe their head gasket shot craps.
There's a sticky about common overheating causes too.
