European model - missing plate on underside
Hi,
i have a 2006 european model, and saw recently that a plastic plate is missing on the underside of the car, at the back.
I try to find out what the parts name is, or what the part looks like, so that i can order it from a dealership online.

First image didn't work at all. Can you repost it?
second image:

All I can discern in this pic is a hitch fixture, and some exhaust parts?
I'll guess it was a flat plastic panel, used for underbody aerodynamics.
Would have extended from the bumper cover edge to the rear suspension area.
Would it have been removed to allow for the hitch attachment?

Well, as fasr as i remember, it was somthing there from the beginning.
They added a fixture for the trailer hitch, thats correct.
But i cant find a drawing of the plate that allows be to order a new one.
Asking Honda for a picture? ...well, i think they wont help me there.
The rust... is it on the gasoline tank, or the baggage area?
Need to get that fixed too..
No exhaust parts missing!

Have you inquired at your local Honda dealer parts department? I'm sure they will help you.
Dealers are in business to make money. They make money selling parts for the cars too.
Can you find any dealers in your country that do online parts business? We have many dealers over here that sell parts at wholesale prices through the internet.
Google 'honda parts catalog' and you should be able to find something that way. (For me, that search returns North American dealers, not international.)
The rust... is it on the gasoline tank...?
HTH
Re: European model - missing plate on underside
Well thanks for the opions. Appreciated. Finding a parts catalogue of the European civic is impossible. I have dedicated hours trying to. And yes the real dealers wants to earn money, but I don't think they would be forthcoming concerning giving me a part nr or something like that.
But, i guess I'll have to try.
So the rust is on the baggage floor then. A relief.
Regards
Lars

Possible used part source: Auto recycle yard? (Not sure what you would call it over there, maybe junkyard, auto dismantler, wrecking yard, salvage yard)??
Best of luck to you
