09 Civic SI Transmission issue, All gears
Guys, working on my neighbor's 09 Civic SI. He has close to 200K miles on it. It is exhibiting symptoms like the clutch system has a hydraulic leak for all gears, however he informed me he hasn't changed the transmission fluid since he bought it new, and I've heard from others that this can give crazy symptoms.
I was wondering if anyone has had either old fluid cause this type of issue, or if anyone has had either a master or slave cylinder go out on these cars.
Thanks in advance!

200K is pushing it, maybe 100K he should have considered a trans flush.
Has he checked the hydraulic fluid to see if it was low?

Fluid change is awful damn cheap compared to replacing a transmission. It's just a drain and fill, takes about 2 quarts.

First clue: Check the clutch fluid reservoir. Is it low or empty?
Could be a worn out clutch?
