1996 Honda Civic CX Hatchback (all original and unmolested) $3,500.00

Here is a 1996 Honda Civic CX hatchback. It has 181,486 original miles and is a 5 speed. The car is completely original with no modifications.
Economy:
The car has been a great commuter car for the past year that we have had it. Currently the Civic is getting 36.8 mpg consistently on the highway and around 31 mpg in the city with a 9 gallon fuel tank. When the car was first purchased it was used to drive approximately 120 miles per day with zero issues. The Civic has consistently gotten great gas mileage and has never left us stranded on the highway.
Repairs/Maintenance:
Over the past year the only thing that needed to be replaced was a clutch master cylinder, which was replaced and new fluids added at the beginning of the summer (2012). The Civic has had a recent oil change and tune up to include new spark plugs, wires, rotor button and cap. The Civic has also had a recent coolant flush and new thermostat and has never run hot. Everything on the Civic works flawlessly and is in good working order.
Engine/Driveline:
The Civic has a 1.5 liter 4cylinder engine that produces 106hp. As stated above the Civic only has 181,486 miles on it! The Civic’s engine still pulls really well with no issues. The engine has absolutely no mechanical issues and was recently inspected at a reputable Honda Dealer. The Civic leaks no oil or any other fluids. The Civic also seems to not consume any oil either. The Civic has a 5 speed manual transmission. The transmission has no grinds when shifting gears, no clutch pedal play or chattering of the clutch. The Civic did not come with power steering from the factory, but did come with a manual rack and pinion, so steering is not very difficult. The Civic did come from the factory with air conditioning and it is in great working order and blows very cold!!
Interior:
The Civic’s interior is in incredible condition with no rips in the driver or passenger seats. The Civic’s interior is all factory original grey, with no missing pieces. The original carpets are fairly clean for the year, with no unusual stains or rips anywhere. The dash has no cracks in it and no missing pieces. The Civic has manual wind up windows, manual locks and are all in good working order. The Civic does have a factory radio, rear defrost and 12v accessory outlet.
Wheels and Tires:
The wheels that are currently on the Civic are 15” Rota “RB” wheels. The wheels have a gunmetal face with a hyper polished silver lip. The wheels are in excellent condition with no curb rash or chips and are very clean. The wheels were purchased new earlier this year. The wheels are wrapped in Kumho Ecsta AST tires with a size of 195-50-15. The tires are in excellent condition with no tears or pieces of the tires missing. The tires have been rotated and inspected every oil change to encourage even tire wear. Currently there is approximately 90% of the tread still on all four (4) tires. If the price offered for the Civic is lower then expected the factory 13” wheels will be put back on the Civic and the Rota wheels taken off. The 13” rims have 2 good tires and 2 tires that will need to be replaced in the near future.
Exterior:
The color of the Civic is Vogue Silver Metallic Clearcoat. The paint is in fair condition with the expected amount of wear and tear for a 16 year old car. The previous owner was involved in a fender bender that pushed in the back bumper slightly and caused some slight damage to the front passenger side fender and front bumper. Although the previous owner was involved in a fender bender it did not affect the drivability of the car at all. As long as the offer is decent I’m prepared to include a brand new Certifit front bumper, passenger fender and rear bumper to help the next owner of the Civic if they would like to make repairs to the exterior. Other then the slight damage there are no cracks in any of the glass and all panels are intact.
