Rep Power: 266 "Big-3 Ground" Kits for sale
Edit (18 Jul 20): 3 7th gen kis remain. I can build 3 more after that. all kits will be in black for $30 shipped to US
$38 shipped to Canada (can take upto 4 weeks for delivery; saw this to Nova Scotia) I can throw in a matching positive clamp and upto 24" of black cable with a ring terminal (you specify length as terminal will be crimped) for another $10.
I've been making these kits for people for over 13 years now. I have kits installed that fit 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th gens.
Over 100 kits sold and not a single unhappy customer!
there are 3 ground wires on the car that these replace (7th gen).
battery to chassis (top)
tranny to chassis (top)
engine to chassis (bottom)
My kit splits the top cable into 2 separate cables as it would be very difficult to get a reliable crimp of 2 cables in one terminal without some type of machine. this is 4ga black wire with the upgraded battery clamp and silver terminals. $30 shipped for this:
Here's an 8th Gen kit in black:
for $10 extra, I can throw in a positive battery clamp and 48" of cable with a ring terminal. they're generic. you'll have to cut them for your application. I don't have instructions. The battery clamp end can be cut, re-stripped and tightened down to the length you need.

by the time i buy all the parts, pay for shipping to get the materials and shipping to the customer, i make less than $10 a kit. plus the time it takes me to make them, based on my hourly rate at my full time job, i really don't make anything on them. i mainly do it just to offer a quality product for our cars as there's not really anything commercially available to those that don't want to make it themselves.

i actually just added it all up. to buy 2 ft of cable, gold terminals, the battery clamp, heat shrink, and pay for shipping from the sellers (2 different places) and to the customer (based on an average of $7 for priority on my end-i don't ship cheap, only priority mail) the total was $36.97. so my "profit margin" on raw materials is $3.03. factor in time (let's just say i make more than $20/hr at my job) and my overal "profit" is in the red. i really don't make anything......hmmmmm......why am i doing this again?

So do I just remove the OEM wires and just replace it with the wires in the kit? Easy and straight forward install right- any kind of tools needed?

Re: "Big-3" Ground Kits for sale
A bump and a recommendation; ordered a kit last week and got great service. I installed them this weekend in about 15 minutes and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for the great product.

no. not worth it to me. i built a 1/0 back at the very beginning. it sat in my garage for 2 years until i lowered the price to less than the 4ga before someone bought it. then, about 3-4 months ago, someone contacted me about building a 1/0. i made it clear up front what the additional cost would be as i'd be buying things specifically for him and shipping costs would make things cost more. he agreed to the price and i started buying parts. about a week passed by and i finally had everything and contacted him for payment. he claimed he didn't hear from me so he did it himself. so again, i was forced to lower the price until it sold and i sold it for half what it cost me in parts. so no, i'll never do a 2ga or 1/0 again. i buy the 4ga stuff in bulk so that i can sell the kits cheaper. i still have about 150ft of 4ga cable left, so until that's gone, i'm not changing sizes. besides, bigger than 4ga really isn't needed unless you have a HO alt. the stock alt only puts out 70A max.

Received mine yesterday. They look exactly as they do in the picture and all the components are made of quality materials. I would absolutely recommend this for everyone! I can't wait until the in-laws leave this weekend so I can install these babies!

Re: "Big-3" Ground Kits for sale
Thanks for the product. I gotta say, it isn't very noticeable if you don't have an aftermarket intake, but it still looks much much better than the original ground wires. Very easy to install, just replace each ground with the appropriate size wire.
