Re: 7th gen Civic Tein Springs (brand new)

These are 1.2" drop?

Why should we pay $150 for 1.2" when we can get stech's for 140, and 1.5" drop o.o

Oh well, free bump anyways

its not always about the drop.

the Htechs are made from a material called "Vanadium" and its for ride comfort.

i had these on my accord and they rode way better (smoother) than stock... and they do offer handling increase as well.

plus, some people live on crappy roads or snow or wtever the reason...and dont want to drop their car too much while retaining ride quality.

Re: 7th gen Civic Tein Springs (brand new)

True, but isnt it more logical
Lower = more expensive?

instead of the other way around?
But then again...
Less material = more expensive doesnt make sense either

Re: 7th gen Civic Tein Springs (brand new)

Rookie question...if I were to buy them...would I need a camber kit?

Re: 7th gen Civic Tein Springs (brand new)

Any lowering would be recommended a camber kit

However, small drops like .7"/.8" dont absolutely require camber kits

But if you want consistant tire wear all around, camber kit + alignment would be recommended

not with these. your stock adjustment will be close to maxed out, but you will still be fine.

but i WOULD advise you to get an alignment after u install these (or mod any part of the suspension for that matter)
