FS: Carbon Fiber Wrapped Fuse Box Cover

I can carbon fiber wrap your fuse box cover for any model. I wrap the fuse boxes with real 3K 2x2 twill 5.7oz/sq. yd. Carbon Fiber Fabric and use high quality epoxy for an extra strong composite bond. It is finished with a UV resistant clear-coat to minimize fading and yellowing and buffed to a high-gloss finish.

You provide the fuse box cover from your car and in about 1 1/2 weeks you'll have a beautiful cf wrapped fuse box for your ride.

The cost for cf wrapping 1 fuse box is $50.

If you have other parts that you would like to have wrapped in carbon fiber let me know. I can wrap just about anything….all at a reasonable price. 805.531.9841

dg motorsports did my sparkplug wire cover 2 years ago. Its a month's wait and you have to cut some of the holes yourself.

Agreed, I think it is a good deal. But I wouldn't trust this individual yet, right now he has no accreditation on this site.
I just put that out there for individuals to compare another option. Its also $90 plus the extra dremel work to cut a few holes to make the DGmotorsports cover fit.

Yes it is true that i am a newbie on this site but i have done alot of cf wrapping for rides on other sites (6gc.net, celica-club.co.uk, eBay) with 100% customer satisfaction. Here's some pix of other work i have done for others

interior window controls

air vent, center panel plus shift surround

I guarantee my work and if you are not happy i'll work something out.

I must admit, your stuff looks nice. If I have cash to spend, I'll probably hit you up for work.

Have you messed around with any gel coating pigments/coloring or carbon kevlar weaves?

They don't make one for the 7thgen civic... get your facts down, before you start shooting down his idea.

Here is a little more knowledge to sprinkle on your cupcake: Simota used to make a carbon fiber intake for the 7thgen and top fuel japan still does. "The more you know."

Just saying man u might as well put ur money into somthing better Like a short ram or a cold air. Just because u have a 7th gen doesnt mean he has one soo u get ur facts down cupcake . The fact is that nobody goes hey guys check out my air-restrictive stock air box wrapped in carbon fiber this **** definately adds 20HP along with my 20 stickers on my door panels. And mayhem im not shootin down his idea just giving him freindly advice (Maybe u should take notes on the freindly part).

Well Hath33 pretty sure he specifically mentioned 7thgen stock air box... Lets try reading before we attempt to come up with a snappy comeback next time; or am I gonna have to call LeVar Burton from Reading Rainbow?

If he wants a carbon fiber air box who gives a ****, its a civic not like an intake is really going to do anything anyway. I applaud him for wanting to be different.

anyways back to topic... has anyone ordered anything from this guy yet?

Wow didnt see that ur right he does have 7th gen. Good job man u wanna cookie? Now let see here if u do read the fine print it does clearly say 20HP gains have been known to come from ur stock airbox wrapped in carbon fiber and have a minimum of 6 stickers on each door guess i must have missed that memo.

Re: FS: Carbon Fiber Wrapped Fuse Box Cover

I looked at it as a non-serious remark regarding this guy's service, but I would respect the work that would be put into wrapping the stock airbox in CF, but ultimately a waste of money.

Re: FS: Carbon Fiber Wrapped Fuse Box Cover

Theres no doubt that Statts work is amazing that is for shure. If i could do carbon fiber work my whole car would be carbon fiber lol. I wonder like if he could make a mold of ur hood though and like make a straight carbon fiber hood cause just wrapping it would be cool but it would be pointless.

Any bolt-on performance part on a Civic= waste of money. The only real way to make hp is to boost or do an NA build this is rudimentary knowledge.

If I had money for cool amenities like CF engine bay parts I would have.. I gotta concentrate on fixing **** first
I hear you on that I sold mine today. It would have cost more than the car was worth to fix the aftermath of my wreck. I might eventually post pics once the court stuff is sorted out.

Re: FS: Carbon Fiber Wrapped Fuse Box Cover

A custom hood would probably cost more than it would to buy a VIS or Seibon hood..

A mold would have to be made, then the carbon fiber laid, edges rolled if you want that pro look, underside skeleton molded, then more carbon fiber (or fiberglass to save costs) laid on that, then the 2 pieces "welded" together. Then if you wanted a hood latch to work with the OEM latch... prolly be too much of a hassle to request a custom job like that. At least with wrapping, you don't need to make molds, just wrap existing pieces.

best performance would be to do a hid retrofit on your stock lights. All aftermarket ones pretty much suck as far as output. The same as stock or less than. As far as quality, they will work but the fit will probably be off a little.
a place to buy retrofit parts if you are interested: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/

Re: FS: Carbon Fiber Wrapped Fuse Box Cover

Eh.. not my style.. I like the look of TYCs more.. and I put my own angel eyes in, but to each his own

As far as quality goes, probably as crappy as all other projector headlights out there.. Gearbox would be the man to ask about quality though.
