whats up guys. got my d17a2 vtec head for sale. works fine just gotta clean it up a bit. i threw a rod and i got a whole new motor so i have my head for sale.
i will sell the head for
$150 + SHIPPING OR BEST OFFER.
(FREE BRAND NEW HONDA OEM HEADGASKET!!!)
i also have the ex tranny, the tranny ran fine. there was some wierd noises when i rolled around though. i am not sure if it was the tranny or brakes or whatever it could have been. it worked like a charm though.
$150 + SHIPPING OR BEST OFFER.
so i pretty much have a whole d17a2 sittin in my garage. the motor has 86,xxx miles on it. if you need something let me know. give me a decent price or a trade and we can work something out

So the head is in good condition? I am researching this alot because I have alot of interest in this... does mileage on the car have anything to do with the head itself? Could you PM me about this, I have some questions...

Oh man oh man I want that head so I can upgrade my my LX sedan, lol. Driven my mom's accord around I feel that Vtec kick in and I want it for my vic. Sadly since my knowledge of cars is strictly Electrical/Audio, I would have no idea how to install it. Ill put in a call to my mechanic at honda, and If he can give me a decent install price, Ill be happy to take it off your hands

yessir. complete vtec head. except for the fact that i think i lost the bolt that holds the cam gear on. but you can pick that up at your honda

shipping for the head is around 50 bucks. this is with the weight of the head @ 70lbs. it probably doesnt weigh that much but i havent weighed it yet. i will weigh it when i get home after school today. in like 5 hours.

woops double post. well varner i dont know where the sensor is at on the tranny. lol so i need to know what/where to pull it out from. i dont know if the block is rebuildable, i havent opened the motor up yet its still sitting in the car. once take the oil pan off i will check it out. my guess will be that the block is pretty fvcked up because i drove on it a few miles to get home even after the rod gave in. i will check it out for you though.

alright nice.. i guess the board is messed up with all the posts lol..
theres only 2 sensors on the trans ones a reverse sensor and ones a speed sensor the speed sensor is like right ontop of where both axles go in at on the trans
