FS: mostly stock stuff

dtrying to get rid of some stuff. there are more pics to come later. all items listed are OBO, if you are local to the DC metro area please PM me what you want and i will work something out for you.

first up

stock intake, this is probably the most complete used stock intake youll find. Every bracket, bolt, coupler, bushing, etc. is there. The ONLY thing missing is the rubber hose that goes from the airbox to the valve cover. It has been cut and it will need to be replaced. It's a little scuffed, but otherwise in good shape. What you see is what you get. I say $30 shipped takes it OBO.

a bunch of good stuff here

1 set of completely stock 02 civic coupe springs, i took them off my car at about 15k miles been in storage ever since. I'll throw in the stock front camber bolts and upper spring seats too for $25 shipped.
1 pair of oem rear shocks, springs and hats assembled back up for sale $40 shipped *anywhere in the continental US*
2 pairs of stock rear camber arms, 1 pair with abs cable bracket, one without $5 shipped a pair. Free locally.

stock d17a1 fuel injectors $20 shipped OBO. removed at 36k miles, worked great.

RSX-S stock front sway bar (pictured on the right). Only includes bushings, it's placed next to a stock 02 DX front bar (left) for comparison.

listed but not shown (yet):

-Black OEM rear RSX leather seat. completely unmodded $80 picked up or shipped at buyers expense.
-stock SSM coupe grille $15 shipped.
-Complete exhaust hardware set. This includes a whole bunch of used and brand new bolts and springs for the stock exhaust and all the rubber hangers still brand new in their bags with respective part numbers $7 shipped.

I'm trying to be as fair as possible with these prices. If youve ever sold anything online you'll know what it's like to have to buy packaging, packaging material and so on. PM me or post up any questions. thanks

Re: FS: mostly stock stuff

*Money was refunded*

Communication was terrible throughout the whole transaction. When he actually DID respond he took my advice to heart in a negative manner. It was not my fault he did not take the initiative to check shipping prices to California before he "SOLD" them to me and asked for payment. After obtaining shipping quotes. he was not satisfied with the amount of money that would be left from the transaction and asked ME what I wanted to do?!? I wanted the shocks, but how am I supposed to know what he wants to sell them for? Enough said, transaction is resolved with a refund. Be cautious in the future everyone.

Re: FS: mostly stock stuff

when I actually DID respond? you make it sound like i took your money and ran. you paid on the 20th, decided you didn't want to wait for me to fix a mistake i made and got your money back on the 27th. Thats 7 WHOLE days. Sorry I dont spend every waking moment on this forum and further more, it's not like I didn't try to send you the package. I used an online calculator which gave me a certain shipping cost via USPS. I dropped the package off the next day and come saturday the box was at my door step marked insufficient postage. I work all weekend, went to UPS and got a quote on monday, wasnt able to get on this forum again until today where you decided that you were "tired of waiting" and wanted your money back. I didn't hesitate to do so. So im sorry if i took your advice wrongly, but I think a little respect isn't that far out of the question.

Re: FS: mostly stock stuff

I really dont see the problem here. He made a mistake, and told you about it.
He left you the option to kick in some extra money if you really wanted, needed, or had to have them, which evidently you dont need them that badly, or you would have at least kicked in the extra money to at least cover the full shipping charge.
Honestly, would you ever sell something at a loss? No, what reasonable person would? This whole thing about the online calculator is a bunch of crap. They're rarely the same as the actual charge, and the fact that he guessed a half way point is fairly reasonable, so it swung a little on the high side oh well, heavy packages typically do... not much you can do about fedex rates. You also knew about what they weighed, and you yourself could have figured out that the price was too low to be right with the online calculator that you trust so much.
Furthermore, he made multiple efforts to get it to you, apparently unsuccessfully, and then promptly refunded your money in full. What the **** are you bitching about? Its as if it never happened. You're lucky that Edwin is a good, honest, hardworking guy and he isnt gonna run off with your cash, unlike plenty of other idiots who have taken people on the boards for a ride. And the fact that this all happened within a week, its pretty rediculous that you're complaining.
I see no reason whatsoever to be "cautious". You didnt get screwed at all. It didnt work out, you got your money back. You just didnt get a rediculous deal you thought you would get. Grow up and deal with it. Jeezus, even if you paid the man another 20 bucks to cover it, you still would have stolen them.

For skipbarber, I received my money back and hopefully you understand the situation from the buyer's perspective. The responsibility of a seller is to know what to price it at, receive payment of a final selling price, and deliver in a timely manner. I know you attempted to send it, but from my standpoint I don't know you and I can't read your mind on what you want to decide to do with your products.

For boilermaker1
Wow where did YOU come in to understand what happened? You don't see the problem? Take a better look. After he notified me that he was backing out of his original listing price for the shocks, he stated,"i can't let these things for for under $7" left in his pocket. I asked specifically,"What are you looking to get for them then?" YES he does apologize for the delay, but all I received was "LMK what you want me to do."
What do you mean what do I want you to do?!? You're the one selling these to me, if the price that was listed up left you "heavily underestimated" from what you thought you would have leftover then tell me what YOU want to sell these for.
Why should I have to spell out how to sell your items when I obviously DID want them in the first place. Main point is he didn't follow through with it. If he needs more time to check out shipping quotes, then tell me that before you tell me to send a payment.

You're telling me BoilerMaker that I didn't get screwed at all? A week hoping these would come through is a big waste of time. Of course it would have been great to get them at that price, but how am I supposed to know what he was looking for? I only needed certain parts off those shocks and I could have just spent $55 getting them new in the first place, but I thought I would try and get it off this guy for less. Some people DO just get rid of things and don't care about whether its 5$ or 25$ in their pocket as long as it is not out of their own pockets and that the parts are gone. The fact that you said he "guessed" on shipping leaves him in the wrong, but its wrong for you to expect me to know how much it should weigh or what actual shipping costs should be. Yeah I RECEIVED MY MONEY, but the time wasted on this whole thing is worth more than that $30 I'll tell you that. I'm done and if you can't understand that then there's nothing more I can explain to you. If you have to express yourself with more vulgar language so it will make you feel better then so be it.

decent.. the upper halves are pretty good, it's the bench that seems to be a little dry. The color is still nice, but the texture of the bench in some areas seems to be a little rough. I'll have pics up soon.

Well it isnt all that hard, Edwin sends me copies of the messages, I read them, and I figured out what happened. Then I conclude there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, because the price he gave you was unreasonable, and you had the means to determine that. You clearly dont need them that badly, because for an extra 6 or 7 bucks you could have had them on their way.... but instead, now you're gonna go drop 55 on them. I dont know how you do math, but you just screwed yourself in an ineffective attempt to claim you got screwed. Give yourself a hand on that one. He left the ball in your court, and told you he screwed up. You had the means to see it coming and chose to ignore it, but you asked for the refund and he gave it to you.

Yes, I'm telling you that it wasnt a big waste of time, because of UPS (or post office, fedex, DHL, etc) you've wasted absolutely 0 time at all.
Chew on this one... if you paid on the 20th and he shipped them immediately (either late on the 20th or the 21st), shipping takes 6 days to go cross country, which means at the earliest, you would have recieved them TODAY. Not looking at that little online calculator that you've chosen to rely on so much just burned you again. So... quit your whining, go take the 30 bucks he gave you back, add more to it and spend the 55 bucks to buy whatever you need locally. No time lost, you get it, and now you've spent more than you would have had you just been a fair guy and paid the extra to ship them, and its not wrong for me to assume that you couldnt figure out what they cost. Its called buyer due diligence.... the fact that you knew, or easily could have figured out the deal was too good to be true makes it non-binding. The fact that you didnt do it makes it your problem, and now you're sitting here bitching over nothing. You're sitting here blabbing on about making $5 or $25 off it... he wouldnt have made any, he would have LOST money. Dont even deny it, if you fricked up the shipping and it made you LOSE money on the deal, you'd have done the same thing. There's no one who wouldnt.
He made you whole again, you lost absolutely no time since you wouldn't have recieved them yet anyways. Go to honda, spend more money than you would have if you just paid the shipping, and then pine over the fact that you did a great job shafting yourself, and an absolutely pitiful job trying to make a stink here.

Re: FS: mostly stock stuff

damn skip, u are selling **** for dirt freakin cheap. I paid $60 for that RSX sway bar, and ur doing 20 shipped? shipping on that will probably be like 15 bucks.

I'm tempted to drive up to MD and get ur rear shocks cuz I just got my first ****ing "ur car is too low" ticket in the past 5 years. **** cops, i'll wait til they nail me for the 3rd time before i even think about taking em off. By the time I do decide to take em off though, the civic will probably be dead.

I think I've met u before too, mid atlantic 2003, were u the one with the dreads i met at white marsh?
