Magnaflow cat back and hp racing header FS
Magnaflow cat back and hp racing header FS
Ok im putting my car back to stock....so i am selling my exhaust set up. it is a HP Racing header with high flow cat and O2 simulator. and the cat back is Magnaflow. The header and cat was 280 and the magnaflow was 370 so if possible i would like the buyers full exhaust(EX exhaust system) and 300 dollars. thanks.

stupid question i know, but i wanted to make sure

So to answer your questions, yes it will pass smog since its a true cat.
Re: Magnaflow cat back and hp racing header FS
first of all, if you use the random tech high flow cat, that is a LEGAL cat my friend. You would not even need an 02 simulator. Your existing 02 sensors will plug into the cat. The random tech. is a TRUE high flow catyalic converter as compred to the HP RACING or MEGAN high flow cat in which is just a RESONATOR. <----if you're using these, then yes you need to get the 02 simulator to trick your computer into thinking you have a cat, but YOU WILL NOT pass smog.

But I have heard a hi-flow cat will set off a CEL which requires you to get an 02 simulator...because of the increased airflow? Anyone have comments on this?
