VIS EVO Style Carbon Fiber Hood 01-03
Here's the story behind this hood:
I've owned the hood for about 6 months. Genunine VIS Racing. I've already drilled holes for the hoodpins. Top is completly primer black.
One day I neglected to lock my hoodpins, and the hood flew up and completly obliterated and shattered my windshield. Luckily since Carbon in the shiznat, barely any damage was done to the hood. There are some cracks eminating from where the hoodpin holes were created. However, since carbon fiber is unrepairable, I've sealed the cracks and replaced the upper corners closest to the windshield. I primered the whole top black so it's ready to paint whatever color your car is. I live in Southern California Santa Clarita/Valencia/Canyon Country area. I purchased the hood for 400 from a speedshop in City Of Industry I will sell it for 200 if you want to come and get it (Or I'll even meet somewhere inbetween.), or plus shipping if you want me to send it to you. Or if you want to make an offer, or maybe a trade, I'm open to all ideas.
I thought this would be an ultimate deal for anyone out there that wanted to paint their CF hood the same color as their car. Post your questions, or PM me! Thanks!
My fault, I accidentally posted this twice. (I thought my computer froze up. I'll tell ya, this thing gets slower every day.) Post any questions etc here! Thanks
